Monday 3 August 2015 – Composing Scantlebury

I am currently working on Scantlebury for Soprano and Tape, which will be premiered at The Pound on Friday 6 November 2015. I am writing this piece especially for Juliet Fraser who is a fabulous Soprano that many will know from EXAUDI. I will be working with Juliet at the Pound on Tuesday 25 August 2015 when we will record the tape parts for my piece. I am really looking forward to it.

Scantlebury was commissioned by Juliet Fraser and The Pound with funds from Arts Council England, the Hinrichsen Foundation and The RVW Trust. Scantlebury is dedicated to Juliet Fraser and to the memory of my Grandad, Gerald Scantlebury.
